when i wrongly df'd 5 years ago i never went back, there are jw's at my job and i sometimes see jw's on the street.
if they smile at me i smile back since they do not know.. question - what am i officially to tell those that innocently say hi to me?
(i would never tell them that i was df'd because i think it is wrong) but i an curious since it has been so long.. .

as much as i dreaded going to all the meetings there were things that i did enjoy.. 1. no special parking spaces for the elders, etc.. 2. no collections plate going around the room.
3. no one person giving the talk every single week (can you imagine the same speaker 3 to 4 times a week, every day?

once i was on my own as an adult, my former sis-in-law started studying with me and the rest was history.

By the way, what part of Ohio are you from? I am from Columbus, attended the Gahanna, Canal Winchester & Reynoldsburg congs.
I live in Gahanna but I did not go to a congregation here, I went to the ones in Columbus.

When my mother would bring the wrong Watchtowers
Filling the chair piping with gum during the prayer.
That was always a classic with them playing the wrong song, everyone is looking around saying "what the..." LOL
I hated when I grabbed the wrong Watchtower, and that was only when I forgot the one I actually pretended to highlight.

The chicks!!!As a female, there were not a lot of "hot chicks" or "hot dudes" at any of the congregations I went to, just a lot of old couples mad that Jehovah hated a divorcing and was forced to stay together. LOL
